Advice:
  • Use NetworkManager for easy network setup


Common Problem:
  • Network Manager is not showing the device while adding a new "Mobile Broadband" connection.

  • Network Manager was able to add the device but not able to connect to Internet.


Solution:
  • Download "usb-modeswitch" and "usb-modeswitch-data" and install it. (If your Ubuntu system have no other way to connect to Internet, you can download on some other system and install here).


It will work out of the box!
