(ISCSI driver developer (Mac OS, Solaris Vmware) Manager Karen
The candidate will develop and maintain the iSCSI driver for Chelsio's high performance 10G Unified-Wire Network Adapters for the Unix-like (including but not limiting to MacOS and Solaris) and/or VMWare kernel environments.
Design/Develop/Maintain iSCSI drivers and other software components in the MacOS, Solaris or VMWare environment.
Participate in all phases of product cycle from requirement, design, coding, unit testing, to benchmarking and support.
Work closely with the ASIC, Hardware, Firmware, QA and support teams on resolving issues.
Support the effort to have the driver included in the upstream kernel as well as in the various upcoming distributions.
- Back port the driver to recent version of the distributions.
Required Skills:
Familiar with MacOS/Vmware/Solaris storage/network driver development with kernel mode drivers for various technologies such as iSCSI, FC and/or TCP offload.
Knowledge of higher level network protocols including TCP/IP and socket programming.
Experience in troubleshooting OS related, device driver and hardware level problems.
Ability to understand technologies such as SAN, iSCSI and/or FC.
Prior driver development experience in 10G network driver and iSCSI are highly desirable.
Be willing and able to code to existing architecture while looking for potential areas of improvement.
Team player.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exp : 3 to 7 yrs
